Tasks
Network administration :
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Troubleshooting and optimization of network connections and performance
- Knowledge and practical experience with network protocols (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- In-depth knowledge of Watchguard firewalls and Aruba switches (desirable)
Virtualization :
- Planning, implementation and management of virtual machines and environments
- Experience with VMware and Hyper-V to optimize resource usage
- Ensuring the availability and performance of virtualized systems
Cloud technologies :
- Knowledge and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Particularly in-depth experience with Microsoft Azure (desirable)
- Migration of on-premise solutions to the cloud (if applicable)
- Management of cloud resources and costs
Microsoft 365 :
- Extensive experience in the management of Microsoft 365 tenants
- Configuration and maintenance of user accounts, licenses and security policies
- Supporting end users with questions and problems relating to Microsoft 365
Qualification
- Completed training or studies in the field of computer science or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in IT administration of networks and systems
- Sound knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and virtualization technologies
- Experience with IT security solutions and backup strategies
- Good knowledge of German and English
- Strong problem-solving skills and a structured way of working
