Junior QA Automation Engineer Who we are? Verifile is an award-winning leading provider of CV verification and background screening services using innovative technology and methodology. We carry out background checks on candidates to enable our clients to make informed and long-term rewarding recruitment decisions. As a Junior QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and performing automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose. You will be inspired by analysing the software and systems, mitigating the risks, and preventing software issues. About the role: Assist in the creation and maintenance of test frameworks from scratch using C#, Selenium,
and Azure DevOps. Collaborate with senior team members to design, build, and implement automation tests within Azure DevOps pipelines. Support the implementation of performance, load, security, and accessibility testing tools. Learn to ensure appropriate tests run at optimal times and places, maintaining automated test projects at the API and UI levels following company standards and best practices. Work with senior team members to improve performance, code quality, and architecture of test automation solutions. Investigate new and improved ways to implement automation testing under the supervision of senior engineers. Identify test scenarios and create test cases in Azure DevOps Test Plan using Test Driven Development with guidance. Analyse user stories, use cases, and requirements for validity and feasibility under the guidance of senior team members. The must haves: Degree level education in a relevant subject such as computer sciences, software engineering, etc.
Basic knowledge of creating test frameworks using C# and Selenium. Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium & JMeter. Exposure to integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps pipelines. Experience producing high-quality test plans, documentation, and reports.
