We are currently looking for Networking Security Engineer:
Role Description
As a Network Security Engineer in our Team you will be responsible for:
1. Configuring, troubleshooting and maintaining Network Security solutions for our Customers
2. Actively mitigating and ultimately resolving all incidents and problems related to the maintained solutions
3. Assessing, planning and implementing changes in the Customer environment
4. Delivering transition and/or project work of good quality in timely manner
5. Proactive solution evaluation and assessment of vulnerabilities
6.
Proposing service improvements based on best industry practice, your own experience and troubleshooting outcomes
7. Automating Team's operational work, also within Customer environment
8. Documenting network security designs
9. Preparing and maintaining operational documentation and service reports
Required experience:
1. Hands-on experience in configuring, managing and maintaining network security devices (firewalls, proxies, IPS/IDS)
2. In-depth knowledge of network layers, protocols, addressing and subnetting
3. Good knowledge of SSL, VPN, IPsec, AAA, Radius
4. Basic knowledge of Linux OS
5. Keenness to develop own knowledge of IT security principles, techniques and technologies
6. Product knowledge of at least one of leading Network Security Vendors: Fortinet, CheckPoint, Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper
7. Analytical and troubleshooting skills
8. Good sense of ownership and problem-solving attitude
9. Spoken and written English language skills at B2+ level, including technical vocabulary
Skills that will be an asset
1.
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field of study
2. Security professional certification, issued by security industry leaders
3. Network professional certification, issued by security industry leaders
4. Experience in one or more scripting languages
5. Spoken and written German language skills at B2+ level
