As a Material Management, what are you going to do?
- Work hand-in-hand with category managers and unit heads within the company to determine the company’s supply needs;
- Help to drive and maintain existing relationships between the company and suppliers;
- Place orders for materials on behalf of the company,
ensuring timely delivery; handle prepayment requests and occasionally negotiate with suppliers;
- Oversee the full delivery of materials from expedition until receipt in good quality;
- Perform claims to the supplier for materials not received in good quality;
- Comply with Health, Safety & Environment rules and report any non-conformity detected;
- Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System and other Management Systems adopted by the company;
- Maintain confidentiality of information as contractually defined;
- Integrate environment and health into all activities and adhere to EHS Policy & Procedures, as well as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 compliance;
- Comply with information security and data privacy policies, reporting any incidents immediately.
What are the skills and professional experience we’re expecting from you?
- Bachelor’s degree and previous experience;
- Market and technology curiosity, with the ability to maintain a big picture perspective while managing day-to-day operations;
- Strong time management, research, negotiation, and analytical skills;
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
